Golden Donuts, Inc. (GDI) was incorporated in the Philippines on May 28, 1980 with registered address at GDI Bldg., corner Reliance and Sheridan Streets,Mandaluyong City. It is the exclusive franchisor of Dunkin’ Brands, Inc. (DBI), formerly known as Allied Domecq Quick Service Restaurants, Intl., an entity incorporated in the United States of America (USA), which granted GDI the license to develop and operate donut outlets in the Philippines using the Dunkin’ Donuts System.
GDI opened its first Dunkin' Donuts outlet at the Quad Car Park (now Park Square) in the central business center of Makati City on April 12, 1981. Expansions were inevitable as GDI opened its first outlet outside Metro Manila. Then, it has ventured into franchising.
